CRITERIA FOR THE GRANTING OF INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

I – REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING TO INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Being regularly enrolled in the graduation course.
  • Full dedication to the graduation program’s activities. This means that the student shall be present at the Institution (FMRP) and at the mentor’s laboratory.
  • Not being retired;
  • Not receiving remuneration coming from labor or functional bond.

II- SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION

  • The scholarship granted for the time period of twenty-four (24) months for masters’ degree and forty-eight (48) months for PhD.
  • The scholarships will be distributed based on a classification list elaborated according to questionnaire to be filled by the student and verification of the information provided.

III – SCHOLARSHIP CANCELLATION

The scholarship will be canceled if:

  • It is verified that the student who received scholarship has formal or informal remunerated job, of any kind.
  • If the student stop obeying the deadlines established for any of the activities set forth by the Program, as well as stop to present the annual report.
  • In case the student has to be removed for internship or data collection, for example, in other Institution or to another city of origin for the theses’ writing, the scholarship will be kept for a deadline not superior to 6 months.

IV – OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT RECEIVING THE SCHOLARSHIP

  • Being dedicated to the activities foreseen in the project or work plan approved by CNPq, for the entire duration of the scholarship.
  • Returning the funding agency (CAPES, CNPq, FAPESP) potential benefits unduly paid. On the contrary, court or out-of-court billing proceedings will be adopted.
  • The works published due to the activities supported by the funding agencies shall necessarily make reference to the support received, with the following expressions, in the language of the work:

1. if individually published:

“The present work was accomplished with the support of (CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP) – Brazil”.

2. if published with a co-author:

“Student with scholarship (CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP) – Brazil”.
